Can a person with Special Needs become a victim of “functional disorders?”

 In Medhamind

It is possible that a person with ADD/ADHD, due to repeated failure because he/she can’t stay on task or the inability to sustain attention, becomes a victim of multiple failures and gets depressed. People with Special Needs can become victims of function disorders like depression, anxiety, panic attacks etc. which compromises their’s ability to bring to the table whatever ability they could have.
